The government has launched a consultation process about how the public wants the local councils to operate by the year 2015.
As part of this process, the Secretariat for Public Consultation and Information, launced a website whereby the public has the possibility to access any information about this public consultation and even give their own suggestions in this regard.

Abakus Solutions has sponsored the Malta Guide Dogs Foundation with a new website which has just been launched.
The Malta Guide Dogs foundation is a registered NGO with the aim of offering services to visually impaired persons and where most of the volunteers who work within the organization have lost their sight themselves thus understand fully the needs of persons who like them have lost their sight.

Oh what a day! The Abakus team met for a strategy meeting on Friday 11th July at the Grand Hotel Excelsior.
It was a very full day for our team where we discussed in detail about quality in software development, strategy and vision. Team members also gave presentations about their area of expertise including ASP.net, Web 2.0, iPhone development, Adobe products, web standards and guidelines and project management. We also organised team building activities in order for the team members to get to know each other better.
