Abakus Solutions has just been awarded ERDF R&D funds for the design and development of fashionKart, which is a powerful online shop for fashion retailers. ERDF Research and Development Grant Scheme provides grants to enterprises carrying out Industrial Research and Experiential Development activities leading to the development of new or significantly improved products, processes or services.

The objectives of the project is to create an online shopping platform for the fashion industry that is accessible through multiple networked devices such as the Internet, mobile telephony devices (and PDA’s) and also gaming consoles which nowadays have become central to home entertainment. The objective is to create an innovative cross-platform online shop that enhances the retail experience through the different channels it is accesses.
