Anson D. Aquilina, M.A. CCT - Executive Director
Anson is an entrepreneur who has studied Communication Studies and Information Systems and holds a Masters of Arts in Communications by the University of Malta. He co-founded Abakus Solutions in 2003 and his expertise lies in designing holistic internet-based solutions for business processes. He currently lectures at the Centre for Communications and Technology at the University of Malta and is a member on the maltese National Commission for UNESCO. Has a passion for travelling, music and technology.

Joseph Mifsud - Director
Joseph was critical to establishing Abakus Solutions and before co-founding the company back in 2003 Joseph has worked in the field of media and online communications for many years. His academic and hands-on experience in Total Quality Management contributed to establish the Quality Assurance Department within Abakus Solutions.. His passions include music, gadgets and technology.

Sarah A. Suda, M.A. CCT - Director
Graduated from the University of Malta in B. Comms (Hons) in 2005 after reading part of her degree at the renowned Italian university IULM in Milan. In 2007 she obtained a Masters of Arts in Communications from the Centre for Communications and Technology at UoM. Worked for various media companies before joining Abakus in 2006 when she led the team that started working on integrated communications through mobile devices. Holds a passion for art, culture and youth policy.

Vanessa Borg, B. Comms - Quality Assurance and Customer Support
Joined Abakus Solutions in 2006 as a part-timer while reading a degree in B. Comms which she completed successfully in 2007. She worked her way up to become an important part of Abakus Solutions with responsibilities in Quality Assurance and Customer Support. Vanessa also holds an ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing. She is passionate about travelling, especially long haul.

Kylie Agius - Business Development Assistant
Kylie is reading a degree in Management at UoM. She brings to the team a fresh and smart approach to business and product development. Kylie loves fashion and partying.

Amante Reale, BTEC HND - Production Manager
Amante is obsessed with web development. His knowledge of databases and variety of programming languages makes Amante an essential element in the team at all phases of production. He holds a passion for rock music, photography and robotics.

Natasha Fenech, IADCS - Team Leader
Natasha holds an International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies and is an avid web developer.  Her work at Abakus Solutions has made her very knowledgeable on user accessibility standards and security features. She holds a brown belt in karate. Beware!

Mark Bonnici, BTEC HND - Application Developer
Mark brings to the team a serene and calm approach to solving complex problems. He specialises in dotNet and other Microsoft technologies.  With his expertise in web services and Windows applications, he has been a crucial element in Abakus' biggest projects.  Mark is usually located between 2 earphones trumpeting some classic rock from the 80's.

Robert Loporto, BTEC HND - Web Developer
Robert, aka Bobby, is a diligent web developer focusing primarily on developing web applications and integrating design and user interfaces. He specialises in ASP, AJAX and CSS. Bobby is an able basketball player and loves all types of challenges.

Stefan Bonnici, IADCS - Web Developer
Stefan is a calm and diligent web developer with the ability to learn new technologies very fast.  He holds an International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies and is currently reading a BSC IT from Middlesex University. Stefan is crazy about Manchester United.

Damian Grech, BTEC HND - Application Developer
Damian is responsible for developing desktop applications and web services. Most of his work involves integrating our software with third-party applications through complex interfacing platforms. Damian is a survivor, drives a Land Rover and volunteers with the Civil Protection Department.

Christopher Demicoli, BTEC ND - Web Developer
Chris joined Abakus Solutions from MCAST. He is highly talented in web application development and database design, making him an asset to the Web Development Team. Chris loves watching televised serials.

Andrew Gambin, BTEC ND - Web Developer
Andrew is a trainee from MCAST and joined Abakus Solutions in 2010. He is a quick learner and loves bringing all the parts of the puzzle together.
